Most servers suck

Are there any servers that don't rely on super complicated PK systems, custom tiles, and over detailed levels and focus on questing and pking with systems the game already gave you while not pretending to be something it isnt?

When I come online I don't really want to chat with people, I'd like a guildwar or two, it is all of this simplistic stuff that I really want a server to have Why does every care about nostalgic stuff as well? I really like to see someone make something new and refreshing while keeping it as simplistic as possible.

But who am I to tell you what to make anyways...

Since those awesome premade baddies no longer exist, and people try too hard to script new ones, quests have gone out the window. Killing things to progress used to be the main focus of quests, but no more

several mini quests that are part of larger quests, the arcade adventure theme, is i think why people like Sanstrata so much back in the day.
I made the quests for that server.
And I have rescripted the equivelant of the old-school baddies with a nice twist to them.

And quests and even more variety will be central to my Argos server - I have a lot planned out, and at the present rate of progress, it may be ready this fall or by Christmas. I started it several times over the past years, and finally have it hosted. If i can find staff that actually keep helping me, as in they dont lose interest after two weeks and go work on another server, then it may be ready sooner.

Well my side scroller which ive returned to graal to do is really based on gameplay, seeing as the scripting and graphics arent very hard to do for a side angle ^_^

But yea my servers main aim is to create awesome gameplay, and ive spent nights thinking of ways to make it more fun than time consuming and try to make nothing take too long and too repetative.

Also to make it easy for new joiners to catch up with those who have played for a long time, making it fun for everyone.

Currently working offline as i dont yet have a server. Woopar!
