Ships

I know we got small fishing boats, but why dont we make bigger ships. Or somewhat bigger ships. I'm sure we could make them just a little bit faster too, this way we could have some serious battles at sea. CP would love this idea too I think. Maybe 2 cannons on one side.... Someone should play around with the idea and come up with something new.

Im new so I can't say I have been on a ship yet but I love the idea, maybe bigger ships would be great and I don't know if you can board ships yet? that would be cool throwing a rope and boarding an enemys ship to invade it.

And YES houseboats would rock if you could live on your boat in the water go downstairs furniture etc..

Definatly. With the constitution of a normal house while in it's kingdom but half that when on main and 75% of the total when in another kingdom. that way people dont abuse the house's and block things off and it also helps when it comes down to getting your house sunk

The problem with Houseboating is, nobody would put thier stuff down below, because they would be afraid of somebody sinking it. Also - you can put furniture on the boats we have now, just not move it around the same as if you were in a house. Another problem is, the water is so glitchy, with the trees, and fortifications, people wouldn't want to get thier house stuck on a tree in the middle of the ocean. Especially if they made it cost more to make a House Boat.
Anyways,
I like the idea of having a Battle Cruiser style ship, though. That would be neat. Two cannons per side, and more Constituion. Different GFX all together.

Houseboats would definetely rock! I think Donald said he was going to give it a go and make the gfx. It would be a problem, though, to have your houseboat sunk and all the contents with it, so maybe it could be made so houseboats don't get sunk, but decommisioned for a certain amount of time? However, then there would also be the problem of tons of houseboats cluttering the sea...so perhaps it would be a good idea to limit the amount, perhaps as event prizes. As for the larger boat idea, YES PLEASE! Slower, but more heavily armed boats would be a great addition for navies to plan more in-depth strategies at sea. My dream: A ship with cannons directed by the mouse, hehe, but can only go so far to either side, oh and frontal cannons. Maybe a rear cannon...heh heh heh...

Well they should know the risk of having a house boat before putting the stuff below..... Have you ever tried to kill a house it takes a long time to make it loose constitution. (Rice is a bastard) but the boats should have half that so it can be sunk but it would take the person a long time to do it. The only reason for that is because you dont want people blockadeing your shipyard. They should also beable to be moved like houses so they can be moved by people with the right to move houses in that kingdom. as for main.... You have seen the horses in the trade that people leave in there... they die fast the same should happen to houses on main.
