about that flame wars thread, its good that FINALLY action is bein taken...but i just have 1 question...

wat are you going to do about antagoniosts? i wont name any names but people DELIBERATLEY post something to make someone mad...yet they dont actually do the flame...

eh something is being done, but they went a little over board...2 months for yelling at someone on threads is WAY to much...maybe like 2 weeks would be good, but damn, 2 months O_o

-_- u no sooner or later, there'll only be about 2 or 3 people posting here if that keeps up (the 2 month ban) and the Zone forums will die...anyway they weren't to clear on what they think starting a 'flame' is...would it be insulting the person in anyway? or would it be saying something offensive to the person directly, over a thread post?

Everyone that posts on these threads can point out who flames... But in respect to them I won't mention names. Question though for all admins. How come Ixi, Bahemuvses or somthing, got banned when he flamed before you made the 2 month ban rule? Does anyone else realize the other people I could mention flame more then him yet arn't banned? And you can't ban him for 2 months before you said the 2 month rule. You can say he's had enough warnings all you want but then what about the other people?

But I am quite pleased somthing is being done about the flaming, I was getting quite tired of reading people constantly argueing.

We are not going to discuss bans in this thread, or it will be closed.

No, we are not going overboard. Several people posting in the Zone forums have been warned repeatedly for a variety of things, and many, many posts have been deleted for the same offenses over, and over again.

Action has to be taken because talking/warning is doing no good at all, and the Zone forums are out of control.

It is not a hard concept at all to post constructively on this forum, and if it is a hard concept to you, don't post.

More than half of the posts in almost every thread has been who owns who, and who is better than who on Zone.
One person gets mad because another says "I own you", and then we have a whole thread of insults, and flaming out of anger beginning with one persons big ego.

Keep it on Zone, and off of the forums (meaning spar/fight to show you are better on Zone, not insult people).

i'm not asking for someone to talk about a ban, i'm asking what are the ways to be bant for 'flaming'. If you tell someone that whatever they said was just stupid, do you consider that a flame? (what's the basics? if someone says something insulting, and it doens't esqulate, is that considered a 'flame'?)

And yes, you guys went way, WAY, overboard with that 2 month ban. You realize that if someone were to post on the forums, and had bought 6 months of Gold time, he'd only be able to post 4 out of the 6 months that HE BOUGHT! so he would have wasted his money in a sense, because he just lost out on like 4/10ths of the time he was supposed to get on the forums. And your banning them from the ENTIRE forums, not just Zones. 2 months is a little too much, i glad somethings being done, don't get that wrong (got tired of telling people to stay on topic, and stop 'flaming') but i would think that the 'flame' ban would only be like 2 weeks tops...when i got bant for 'dis-obeying' you or w/e u said, i only had a week...so your telling us that were better off defying Forum Admins rather than 'Flaming'? think about that x.x

And please, like i mentioned above, please be more specific on what you guys consider a 'flame' (people may think differently, one person might think that one thing is a flame, when the other person dosen't...could become a problem) so could you possibly make a list of what is considered a 'flame' and what isn't? And like they said, bahamutstevetff should have a shorter ban because that thread was posted afterward. Or to be fair, how about you guys ban everyone that has flamed on the threads, this way your not just picking on one guy. It was very unfair that you pick a random individual to ban, when like you said;

I'm sorry to disagree, IXI got what was coming to him. (no offense IXI x.x) We all flame once in awhile. I think Touya meant to ask that, If someone posts something to get other people to argue about, is the person who said something just to make people flame in trouble?

i think they just bant the person which triggered the actions taken -_-..which was completely unfair to ban them (him..) THEN post the rule...

and yes, thank you mistermastermind, thats wat my topic was about...i think something WORSE should happen to the antagonist than the person who actually flamed cause the antagonist caused it to happen x-x, wat will you admins do about that? thats all i want to know...

But did the admins ban bahamustevetff about the flaming he did before the flame sticky thread was made? If so then his banning is just pure stupid. I've already seen a clean up of flaming since that thread was made. That means we have all taken note, yet the admins banned IXI for something he did before the flame thread was made. Bottom line, unfair.

Read what the rules say about flaming, and arguements.
I believe Spark did what he did, and made the thread about it simply because, enough is enough, just like the thread I made awhile back that everyone ignored.
The thread is fair warning to all of you, that if the actions continue, you will have a 2 month ban.
