Hello, Graal Players, more specifically those who know me as an admin on Graal Kingdoms.

Recently there have been some issues, and I am involved in them, greatly! January 12th my friend, Matthew White was playing. He's a good friend, and I trust him as much as I would trust... say... Vladimir.

Matthew, being the good friend that he is, was using some of my gear when his friend, who was also a very good one, wanted to use his FID - which he had done before. His friend's name was "Shane Snow" (If you don't recognize the name, then perhaps the account - DerekWolfee07) Shane had the FID the entire evening - appearantly he planned to buy it for $60 USD, and logged off with it on - Matthew was concerned and told me.

Now, I can tell you that I do have a short temper, and hearing that the FID had been lost to one of Matthew's good friends I was quite angry - I do not promise to be more than human, though perhaps more than the average human. I reacted. I wrote him a threatening e-mail telling that he must either return the FID, pay the money, or suffer my wrath (not exactly to quote, but the general gist)

I banned him for USDing, because - that was the original intent, correct? I also banned Matthew White for USDing. Now, these (as far as I know) are the ONLY bans I've ever done as a punishment for USDing - I have sold items for USD before and I see nothing wrong with it, so I wasn't going to enforce a rule I didn't follow, myself. This probably makes the fact that I banned Shane for USDing even more terrible, since I, myself, was guilty of it.

Now, I can say that I was going to tell Lance; I wanted this resolved and I knew I wasn't capable of doing the right thing myself, and that Lance would be capable. I was, honestly, too ashamed to tell lance, so instead I asked him "If you are doing something, and you realize its wrong - what should you do?" He told me that one should undo it, or apologize. Now, I will apologize not only to Shane, for threatening to ban him (which is absolute abuse of my power, since banning him for scamming isn't legal and he didn't ACTUALLY USD). I apologize to those whom I have been too hard on, because I know I was a very strict admin. To those who were put in the pillory - Mark my words, you only got a slap on the wrist; 10 minutes of your gold time, and potential life is nothing compared to a banning, especially for those people who harassed other players so heartlessly.

For my actions I have been suspended for a month, four weeks. I am ashamed of abusing my powers in that manner, but I am not ashamed of reacting. I am surprised that Shane would do that to Matthew especially since, to Matthew, he was considered a best friend.
