Events for 7/29/04

This is your new Events Master, Ed
(2nd time typing this for some strange reason.)

I plan to host two Events on July 29th... a FFA Battle Royale with bows only at 2pm EST, and a FFA King of the Hill event at 7pm EST.

Bow event:
1. FOUR level divisions... (edited)1-13, 13-26, 27-45, and 46+
2. It is preferred that you provide your own bows... Bows that we provide will NOT be of top quality.

Special Rules for FFA King of the Hill:
1. You may leave and reenter the arena for the first 3 minutes... after the 3 minutes, the doors are closed.
2. Lucky 7: The 7th person to die after the arena is closed wins a prize equal to the winner's prize.
3. The last person standing at the end is named King of the Hill and takes home first prize.

The dates and times may be subject to change... hopefully it wont be.

LMAO, if I can get a good bow/crossbow, I stand a good chance in the Bow event

But as far as the 2nd event goes, will it be split up into different level divisions again?

No because you can potentially win if you're the worst :P

Hmmm, I'm really against spar events because the GK system just doesn't allow it at all....but doing it with bows adds a nice twist to it, as does the Lucky 7 thing o_O
Good luck

Btw...how will you make sure that people don't sneak in hits with melee weapons, or cast spells while you're not looking? Undoubtedly there'll be some ***** who tries it, and when he does, although you'd probably remove him from the fight, he probably will have killed an innocent person that was obeying the rules. Hmm

I always thought seven was the bad luck loser's number...

But those of 13-30 and even in 1-13 sometimes got an ac of -70 which barely anyone can break in the same range...

Oh yeah. 14:00 EST is 19:00 GMT...

I go to the events island battle arena where they screwed up and make use of that bug.

Wow, Ed's an EM.

Isn't that a sign of the apocalypse? The Ragnarok? No...not unless Ed's a wolf that will devour the sun and kill the Gods....which could be fun, if he is.

Should be fun to watch these events, Ed.

Congradulations to today's winners!

Crystal Frostwind (*MysticalMage) Level 1-13 division FFA Bow Spar
Three other guys who I can't remember but they couldn't hit through eachother's AC... Level 14-26 division
Craigus - Level 27-45 division FFA Bow Spar
Aki Sagesun (*meishanli) - Level 46+ Bow Spar and FFA King of the Hill!

King of the hill lasted ONE WHOLE HOUR!
I award Lance with a sturdiness award for lasting 45 minutes of straight fighting and Drk A. Sasin for his stealth tactics to last almost as long as Lance did! Good job you two!

I have to go figure out what my next events will be

I think Zero_hour, Kay and Raziel Tenjin...

And uhm. In the 1-13 division, even I have trouble hitting that *Mystical mage person... Splitting it up in levels just doesn't work anymore.
