New Mac version

Graal v3.04 has been released for Mac. This version fixes a lot of bugs, we have tested it several hours on different servers.
Change log (from v3.02):
- faster network code
- playerlist is sorted and non-transparent
- displaying of the classic weapon screen is fixed
- better transparency for gifs
- fixed problems with warping and freezing
- new scripting variable 'gravity' for influencing projectiles

Download the Mac version from the downloads page.

Update: Also released v3.04 revision 1 for Linux and Windows for fixing a problem that e.g. crashed the client when playing on Zone

Why don't you test the new versions when you make them?.. easier then releasing with hundreds of bugs

Because he can't possibly test every environment and test situation. The people are the testers and hence the versions become more and more revised.

You can't expect a 100% rewrite to be completely free of bugs. In this case it's a completely new program. Bugs are a part of software development dude.

No amount of testing is going to remove all the bugs.

Every version is obviously tested, otherwise it wouldn't be a valid candidate to be released for use. If it runs, that's a good enough sign. Find the rest of the bugs and then they get fixed.

If you've dealt with any programming before, you'd know that it's almost impossible to write an entire piece of software and have it completely bug free. Plus, it's common knowledge this client was rewritten in a different codebase so that it was platform independent. This is much more complicated, as most programmers have a hard enough time sticking to one platform, and completely rewriting something in a different language is going to cause problems in the first place.

The original code was delphi. This is C++ if I'm not mistaken.

Well, I was talking about the core parts of the client, not the 3D stuff.
