The purpose of this area of the forums is to discuss graphics related topics. There is no real limitation besides that as long as you comply with the forum rules.

Something that is very popular among members of this community is to post graphics which they made for critique, praise, or maybe they just felt like it. For whatever the reason, such practice is generally constructive because it helps growing artists to improve by input from others.

There is one thing that I simply will not allow. When posting a work of art and claiming it as your own when infact it is not is simply unacceptable.

It is understandable that people may incorporate gfx from other artists into their own work one way or another. Maybe your doing an edit job or just used some small part somewhere in the image because you thought it'd look good. In such cases, proper credit should be given to the original creator --- so other members of the community are not led on under false pretenses.

Failing to do this is an abuse of this forum's purpose. Critique and compliments of such images would not be accurate, because those replying had been initially lied to.

You have been warned. A possible punishment for offenders is a temporary lock-out of the "Graphics Design" area. Meaning that the user would not be able to post here for a period of time.

Repeat offenders would face longer lock-out periods.

That may sound kind of harsh, but it really shouldnt have to come to that, ever. I hope that you all will respect these forums and conduct yourselves appropriately.
