The Scammers

The scamming on 2k2 is bad... from just my small amount of playing on 2k2 ive seen A LOT... ive been scammed myself.
The only time that I was really upset when i was scammed out of 30k by Senate.. Staff should do something about it, ive talked to staff and it is allowed only illegal scamming is if staff are scammed. They should make it so on the tables if you are about to get nothing for something a pop up saying like Are you sure? yes or no...

There is alot of scamming of GK, but it's easy to spot scams, and even easier to avoid if you know where they are.

Maybe someone should post of all the different types of scam tactics and places where scammers usually try to "scam" people. Just don’t post "who" the scammers are unless you tell how they did it. Should be very helpful for people who are new to Kingdoms/trading in general.

That would be giving idiots ideas on how to scam. People that do not read the forums and still play GK would get screwed. It would be very helpgul yes, FOR SCAMMERs.

there is nothing wrong with scammers, if they are crummy scammers then you get a good laugh, and if they are good scammers then they keep you on your toes, scammers are all part of the balance!

Believe me, scammers already know their book when they are good ones - if not, they will learn. Listing possibilities will rather help inexperienced players to prevent scame themselves.
For starters, I'd say this:

- If you trade, use safetrade or the tables. Isn't safety worth a few plats?
- Never drop any valuable items. Sure, you can experience a bug on a table, but they are rare now, and it's better to lose an item through a bug than through stupidity, because a bug is easier to fix.
- always right-click an item on the table and check it's full stats. Don't be fooled by sight.
- Check whether the item is laying in the middle of the apropriate player's half table.
- If you're a suspicious mind, ask the person you're trading with to run against the table, just in case they're invisible to them (this may already have been fixed).

If you didn't come up with these ideas yourself, then you're a lousy scammer - or too good to be scammed, hence the advice

GK is very secure now, so secure it isnt fun much anymore. Trade tables kinda ruined it.

If you don't play any more Graal neither like the managment then what are you doing there ? I will not let anyone ruin the friendship of the community, we are there to have fun and not to have stress ! If you have bad energy to spend against something, then take a punching ball. This is the Third time i warn to not continue this way, so the next step will be to put out of the community trouble makers. -Unixmad

My point of view is your tooth are not big enough to hit me because if it were you will have eaten me since a while. Personaly i will never eat you because it will really taste bad. -Unixmad

I actually agree with him for once. Without tables it would be 1098924098234 times worse. People are just idiots for not using the tables. Just be glad there are tables to be secure and not just lay item so and so on the ground for something else hoping you do not get scammed.

When i got scammed for 30k i had 30k on the table Senate had 100 dias out... so he canceled then jumped on table real fast and confirmed all in like a second and i accepted....thats why i think in that case there should be a confirm button yes or no if you are getting nothing or even for every trade

Myself and my brother warned people about him, he is a thief through and through. He tried to use silver instead of plat to pay for stuff.
