Rate Old--New

Well, to help Babylon out I decided to edit a level. I will show you the old one, then the new one. If you can please do so, I want you to

1) Rate the new one

2) Give it a rating of change. As in, rate it based on how much better it looks.

Also, please motivate your conlcusion about the level. By that I mean, if you say 1/10, tell me why.

Any tips on how to improve would help. !

I didn't look at the first one, but the second one is OK. Very Babylon. House has some errors, but nice. You forgot to detail above it though. Decent path, but the cliffs are too straight.

Can you point out the tile errors and such for me? I'm picky and I don't really notice one.

That house is cool, but im not such a big fan of using that blue and green to cover the levels. Instead maybe patch out an outline of some dirt path and add some village walkway tiles, like this:



The second change I would do is the level detail. Well not change but improve. Its good what you have but you need more of it, BUT if you just smother the level it will look bad, as it will repeat.

SO maybe fill it in by adding some groups of trees together, as thats a great way to fill in space.

Last thing is the mountain at the bottom, just make it less straight. Great level though

Erm I edited the path (added dark blue to blend in with the lightblue) and finished detailing it. (Tell me if I should change the road back to the way it was..)

Spark, I cant really do what you told me. I'll practice it on a seperate level then post it.

1st:meh you put to many grass spurts
2nd: toned down it a little, building is better
3rd: best
