Playerworld Expectations

This is just a discussion thread. I'm not using the responses for anything important.

Throughout your Graal playing time what playerworlds really dissapointed you when they first came out and which ones really impressed you. Also state why or what you think contributed to the playerworld impressing or dissapointing you.

The playerworld(s) that came out that I was very much interested in but dissapointed me was Doomsday. I thought it was going to be really cool and that it would probably come out better than my favorite playerworld N-Pulse. I was dissapointed with it because the world wasn't very organized. I didn't give it too much of a shot afterwards because of problems I had with staff.
The other was Cynical. In my opinion it was very much outdated and was just a collection of past ideas and so I didn't have much interest in it.

The playerworlds that realy impressed me over the years was Xone, SL and Rudora.

Rudora had that classic feel and the quests were very challenging. The levels during that time was very well made. It seemed to be a very organized world.

SL's intro is what impressed me a lot. The storyline was quite nice and got me into it.

XOne was also because of the levels. During that time their levels impressed me a great deal, and they had some interesting jobs.

I thought Shifting Ages was no more?

I really liked Sanstrata when it first came out. It was a sense of real close community and because there were only 2 levels that sense could only increase. I quit after their second overworld was released.

Shaded Legends always impressed me, yet I could never find anything to get me addicted to it. But it always looked superior to all.

Era almost got there, but something happened along the way and all that Era became was Gunsville.

Graal 2001 Impressed me alot for the first few months, then once I could afford anything and I had the best PH, it sorta became boring and most of my time was spent at my house, trying to get people to pay 100g per week to stay there.

Graal 2002 was impressive at first (Strange Jobs, Huge Overworld, Many players, 3D Terrain), after new interface it turned into Swordsville.

There are more but I tend to forget em...

In my opinion Shaded Legend has the best staff (apart from a few, and I dont just mean talent wise, I'm sure there's alot of staff out there that are just as good or better ), it also has the best looking levels, storyline is cool aswell, but development is too slow to keep players playing, which is a shame.

I didn't play Xone the first day it came out, but the first time I DID play it I was addicted. It had a strong community, corrupt(in a good way) staff, a lot of guild wars, and some "kingdom wars" <-- best event created, -EVER-! Xone is an all time favourite.

The first time I played Enigma, I didn't really think of it as exciting. Then i starting meeting a few people, I bought instruments (first instruments I had used on Graal), and a couple of other stuff. I ended up being events admin there for quiet some time.

Another server I really liked was Sanstrata. Once again I didnt play it the first day it was out but the first day i did play it I found out Elven Empire was there so I stayed on Sanstrata until the final day when it went down. (I remember when we had a new manager every week, im not exaggerating(spelling?))

Delteria, Mithica, and Babylon are servers I've played a lot and find them ok.

Today im a Val junky :P.

If only I could go back in time. :'(
:P

Same here, though as others have stated, development is too slow to really keep me there for too long

Kinda of yes, kind of no. Soul's still working on it, but it's going to be different than the screenshots you've seen. That's what he told me the last time I saw him, but that was quite a while ago. He seems to be really busy in real life.

Well first off i have to say UN and Classic, my old style is defenetly pking, later on it has been GK.

Classic, great server to start on I can tell to the starters, or it atleast was , Classic was a server when i started to play where you really wanted to join clans and you made unoffical clans and had wars with eachuder, also you could block everybody in destiny church before so they couldnt get out and play we were terrorists and wanted money for them, I think you anderstand (you had much more fun when you felt new to the game). Later on I got into the pk style and after some months i had pretty well stats with 16 000 kills and 2000 deaths after only playing classic and been the only server i ever went to, i took the decsion to leave classic for a while to... a new server called UN, I was really lucky and my start on UN was most likely good, since It was the day it realesed i start playing on it I always met heart quests and in 1 hour I had gotten all hearts by myself there with no help.

After a time there I pended beetwen alot of servers, and I didn't really have a place to go to, so I started with something new, GK a good server but wayyy to corrupted with people overpowerfull just killing and destroying the community itself to keep playing there.

EoA will own.

Will somebody please say "amen to that"?

thanks .
