Prices on Kingdoms

The prices for diamonds and most player sold items is out of hand, i'm not playing anymore for that reason.

There should be a limit to how many diamonds can be sold to a single buyer in a day or something to fix this mess.

*sigh* If there are ANY suggestions please come post here, I dunno if this is spam, worthless-thread-to-post-because-folks-don't-listen-anyway, or what, but i want this taken care of, you could lose so many new players if this keeps going stefan.

And 60 dias for a simple +7 blessing? go get your own dias! =D

Actually

all we really need is just the reset now, what is Stefan doing now to improve on the game?
He's just adding item's, the game should be out of Beta now, I hope they reset it soon.

It's hard work to get to +7 - last time I checked, it's wisdom 36. Also, everyone can ask whatever they want, and as long as people are willing to pay, that's fine - it's called free economy.
As for a reset, it won't change a thing. People won't suddenly start rping due to a reset, and pkers won't realize their peacefull side when their items are taken. En contraire, rpers will be driven off because they think their character worked for their stuff, just to get it removed if they did nothing wrong, while pkers will remain to annoy others as they do now. You'll still have powergamers, and nothing will be improved. The right way would be to add some good craftable armout, bracers and gloves, at reasonable expense, then do something about the unbalance between fighters and spellcasters, then have a number of events encouraging rping. And get it into people's mind that it isn't about being strong, but about rping. Also, being strong doesn't mean that you don't rp, or abused a bug or such.

(You type better english than even most people with english as a first language who think "you","are",and "why" are spelled "u","r", and "y".)

RPers wouldn't be effected more by the reset as you said. If they are true RPers, they can RP anything no matter what their exp and items are. The people that would be driven off are power-gamers who only care about their items and levels. RPers have a balance concern for RPing and items/levels, so they may still get angered if they have their stuff reset, but the people who will be upset the most are those completely infatuated with items and exp and with no concern for RPing.

I'd say there are three groups: RPers, PKers, and powergamers.
Some RPers will remain, staring anew, while some will leave as their items have been deleted even though they did what they were supposed to be. Items and level can be part of rping, and having them doesn't mean you don't rp.
Some PKers will leave and look for better servers to pk and annoy people. Some will stay, using powergaming means to be better than most, specially newbies, and will continue to harass and annoy them.
Some powergamers will leave, having their efforts whiped away, while some will remain, continue powergaming as they did before, and maybe even switch to be a pker just for fun.

The way I see it, this won't improve pking. It also won't make that many people happy.

No, we need more rping players - the kingdom leaders are already quality rpers, and even they can't force their citicens to rp. Nobody can force you to rp if you don't want to.

i hate to keep having to use it as a refrence but another server like Valikorlia wouldnt do, Kingdoms is unique in that it is not like any other server

Sure there are some balancing issues but i dont think a tyrannical style RP server is the way to go...

Of course i could be wrong?

Stefan is not going to reset GK
I am not going to waste my time explaining why either, it's been said in many, many threads before.
That's that.

It's actually close to real life. You need to work hard to become good at something - which involves both knowledge and equipment. If you aren't good, don't go out and challange others. When someone comes to pk me in any way, I usually run, as I'm not a fighter and magic can't keep up with a sword or bow in melee. I have no problem with running, specially as this is probably what the High Mage would do if something came at him that he can't defeat. Then again, if a player came along and would try to rp some demon lord, with a proper background, I'd love to set some small story up, discussed by both sides via pm, and if it fits I wouldn't mind dieing (i.e. getting severely injured).

My point is this: it's neither server nor items that keep you from rping, nor can they ever force you. It's up to you whether you rp or not.
