((The story was told in a 3rd-person point of view (a narrator,no RP character) due to it not making much sense for me to tell it from my character's point of view.))
((Event Directions))
It has been a few weeks since the Governor's trip to meeting the Kurenai Joukai's officials at sea to sign treaties of alliance. Since then, Governor Raghnro Diomora of the Crescent Pirates has been coming down with an illness. At first, he thought he was simply becoming seasick during the ship ride. Then, as the meeting concluded with the Kurenai Joukai, there was an excitement of the ships sailing into and damaging one another by mistake. This caused more sea sickness within the Governor. As the days passed, he realized he was coming down with something.
There was more to this sickness than could be known. The Blackguard Captain, Karcist Diomora, stood by his side pondering what had happened. Was it a curse? Was it disease? Was it a simple common sickness carried from the east that the pirates have no defenses against? Why did it only hit Raghnro? This mystery is causing chaos among the pirates. Will it spread to everyone else? Without a leader, the pirates are suffering chaos. The help of every pirate is needed to solve this mystery. Pirates, please help your pirate Governor and find a cure to his sickness so that he can live on. Whether it be magical or natural...he is in need of help.
((Pirates, you have 10 minutes to come up with an RPing story and adventure you went through in order to obtain a cure for the sickness. Only one cure will work, and that will be the one that came from the best RPing story. RPing will be judged by detail, grammar, punctuation, spelling, appropriate acting in character. You will first present your story in PM, then you will present it in-game in the throne room one at a time. Both will be judged to determine a winner.))
((Winning story, by Crewman Drakken Darkraven))
*Drakken feels the governor's head*
He be burning up....
*Drakken then runs to the nearest water source, takes his shirt off and
drenches
it in the cool water. then carrying it back, places it folded on his forehead*
Arr, that should help a wee bit... but as for the disease, I have no Idea what's
going on... hmm, perhaps... yes. I'll try that.
*Going into the shipyard, Drakken carefully picks a seaworthy ship and
boards it. Then, exiting the shipyard and closing the gates after him, Drakken
heads off to the kingdom of Kurenai Joukai*
*While sailing, Drakken notices something is happening with the weather*
Arr, the seas be gettin restless... and I be seeing a storm headed right for
me... it's as if the gods themselves were against me...
*Unfurling all the sails, Drakken speeds up and gets to the island before the
storm does*
I be lucky... for now. Now, to find a leader...
*Heading towards the castle, the guards up on the castle's turrets call down
to him*
Guard- What is your business sir?
Drakken - I come to talk to a leader about a recent event that has happened.
*Quickly they let him in, as if they new this were of utmost importance*
*Standing right there, at the gate, was a royal-looking person. *
Person- Yes, we know what has happened. Our cook did not prepare the
meal we shared well. He has been exiled from the island. What has
happened is the cook did not prepare the puffer fish right. Your leader must
quickly be given this antidote, or he will die in a matter of hours from the
poison.
*Grabbing the antidote from the person, Drakken runs towards the gate*
Person- I hope this does not affect relations...
Drakken- Arr, on the contrary. I believe this will help more than hinder...
*Quickly, Drakken boards the ship, but by the time he got there, the storm was
upon him*
Drakken- AR! She be a Nor-Easter! Govannon help me!
*Even in the impending danger, Drakken grabs a hold of the wheel and
heads towards CP, struggling to keep the ship on course.*
Drakken- Yar! I be nicknamed Keen-eye, not Strong-arm! But I need to get
this antidote to the guv'na!
*All of a sudden, a flash of lighting streamed from the sky... and then the ship
was ablaze*
*Ripping a board from the ship's hull, Drakken jumps into the sea and swims
toward CP, using the board as a way to keep him up*
*Finally, Drakken swims onto shore., and heads towards the castle where the
governor lies sick*
Drakken- Arr, I hope I didn't arrive too late...
*Taking out the antidote, Drakken slowly pours it into Raghnro's mouth. The
effects are almost instant. *
Raghnro- Arr, thank ye matie. I be almost a goner. What happened?
Drakken- well, after I put my shirt on your head to keep you cool, I sailed over to
Kurenai Joukai to ask if they knew anything. After I got the antidote for the puffer
fish poison I was hit with a severe storm, almost drowned, and then....

((Note: It wasn't actually on a 10 minute timer, but that was the original plan given in the directions. The problem was people asking too many questions and not understanding the event. So I had to explain things to people. Everything was fine and fair though, everyone had enough time to do their story.)) |
