MS Paint is not exactly free, I think.
I suggest the Gimp.

You shouldn't be without MSPaint, then you should have a second program such as PSP 7 or 8.

Well, free in the sense that it comes with Microsoft Windows and 90% of the computer world uses that operating system. So most people have MS Paint.

I disagree
Not only that MS Paint would not run on my system without considerable effort, but also there are other programs as simple and probably more comfortable, etc.

Since he didn't mention his OS, I assumed it was a Windows OS (since the majority of forum users do use this), and I didn't think of the possibility it would be hard or impossible to run Paint on his OS. I haven't found a better program like that and it works well for me (and many others), but what would you say is a better program in contrast to my suggestion, The Gimp?

That's nice Loriel, it's nice that you think the program is comfortable, but not everyone is going to feel that way. It's like you're trying to force religion on everyone or something.

You mean the wrench that the mechanic looses in the bottom of the toolbox?

Somebody send him some soap on a rope.

Yeah really... The best program to go with is mspaint I think. Unless you don't use Windows, and then you'll just have to use the gimp I guess?
