Start with what you know, try making things that sound simple enough, just to get some practice in.. hopefully you'll be forced to learn some new commands in the process of making those things.

Sit. Read commands.rtf, newfeatures####.txt (theres 3-4 of them), and maybe npcprogramming.doc (all found in graal folder).

Just practice practice practice. If you have a question, ask someone who knows, not someone who thinks they know.

Once you've mastered clientside scripting, find a nice manager who will let you learn/work for their server so you can learn serverside scripting (it is very confusing at first, but you just get the hang of it).

Cheetos has some good advice for you there. The trick is to gather examples of what you want to learn. You can study those scripts and perhaps try to tweak or duplicate the script. Just keep fiddling around with it until you're confident that you can understand the concepts behind the script. If there's a part of the script too difficult to understand, I suggest doing a list of things in a certain order that should help you find your way:

1 - First check the commands.rtf, the side bar on the your screen. If the command isn't there, move on to the next step.
2 - in your Graal2001 folder there are many newfeatures.txt files that explain many of the commands very well.
3 - If it's not in any of the Graal documentation these forums will usually have touched upon the question at one time or another.
4 - If you can't find it by now then you're free to post on these forums and ask a question

here take this, it's an updated commands.rtf, this one is a mix of the one I've been keeping and one that was posted on the forums not too long ago
