Cuboing?

A while ago I made this game called Cuboing. Basically it's a puzzle type game where you are a ball that bounces up and down, destroying blocks of the same color when you hit them. (If you've ever played Diamonds, it's pretty similar to that)

I'm wondering if the graphics are okay as they are, or if I should put a bunch of detail into them.

I used to have Diamonds on my TI-89, I love that game.

The screen shots look good. Although, when I first saw it it took a little while to adjust and tell which object was which. Maybe it's just me though.

I think this is one of those situations where 'less is more'. I iihnk they look great the way they are and detailing the graphics could make it look as bad as Zorbi Burst on Kingdoms

Well I've never heard of breakout gold, so I dunno. But all the breakouts I've ever played you basically have a paddle at the bottom, and a bunch of colored blocks at the top, and depending on the color of the block, you have to hit it more times.

This is similar, but you have to change the color of your ball in order to hit the right color block. Meaning it's more puzzle like than arcade, since you have to plan what you're going to do and it's not simply rebounding a ball off a paddle.

You play as the ball, meaning you move the ball with the keyboard, you don't bounce it off of anything, it only bounces up and down, not vertically, you move it left and right, heheh.

It's pretty fun, and I nearly have a working level editor. I might jazz it up later on, and add a bunch of different playmodes, like a breakout type, an adventure mode, challenge mode, etc.

Well its different still by alot, but same concept. BUT who cares? You made it, its on graal, nowhere else on graal.. Rock On!
