Gani help

how do i make it so if the character is standing up it plays the gani for down? basically all directions play down

Or, in the gani, make it singledir, delete all the frames except for the down one, and there you go.

sorry to do this again but does the thing have to be singledir before you make the gani cause i did that after i made the down sprite and it went wacko

If you wanna see the down animation then you click the bar with directions and click down...if you want all directions to play down then you make the "singledir" line true and erase all other frames for the other directions. Doing it before or after the gani is made would not make a difference except for the amount of frames you would have to erase.

It's better if you turn on singledir before you make the gani so you don't have to erase any other dir frames but the first few frames. If you do it after you make the gani, all the different dirs merge into one dir, and it will look like it "messed up".
