what it takes to obtain a cartographer.
its extremly important i get a golden key
when i didnt know anything about stats and all i just picked first roll there was leaving me with like 20 wis but 12 strenght something that really hurts now these days

I think it's rather the a cartographer somewhere needs some quest item, which should me mentioned in the very list in Bomboria's pub.

The List on the bulletin describing what is needed doesnt always match up to what they take

For example the bulletin board said the old woman in Zehn village was looking for a walking stick, but when I got there she wouldn't take it, so I started offering her other quest items and to my surprise she took the medal (badge) and gave me a whatsit. I have never been able to find Adept in Hotoru, don't know where he's hiding, but I have the glass sword he's wants

I guess the quest isn't functioning the way its suppose to, or maybe it resets itself, so if someone get's there first and gives the correct item, you have to wait until it resets. I'm not sure I'm guessing.

It took me a while to get some chef to take my icebox, and my girlfriend has two cookoos now and all the weirdo in Pirton wants is to paint his room yellow - even though the board says he wants one. It's frustrating, and in my experience the quests don't reset often enough. Also, two of the escort-NPCs seem to have vanished, their destination-NPCs say they have no idea where they are. Does that mean they are on main, or someone hid them in their house?
