Level Editor idea
For the level editor you can high light a certain number of tiles. Then hit the copy button, then the past button.

Would it be possible to make it like text. Where you can type Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste. It would make level editing alot faster. Just something I thought that would be nice.

But:

You should be able to copy and paste tiles that are not just a square/rectangular shape, So like L shapes etc..

Thats the whole point, not having to copy it twice. If I have a House thats some weird shape:

Easy again, script something to do it for you.

We have editNPC's ya know.

Well, prabably not easy, but if you work at it, you can make a nice little npc to do it all for you.

I dont know Gscript, so wouldn't attempt it. Why make your own when I perfectly good one could be in the client as standard?

Becouse Stefan isn't going to add this to the client as standard. At best somebody scripts the thing. and he includes the editNPC with the download. That's asking a lot even then.


Actually, I've never heard of anybody scripting thier own editnpcScript for the level editor.

Level editing will soon be scripted (in v3), I guess we could add something where you can add rectangles to the selection by pressing shift + selecting the rectangle, and cut rectangles by pressing ctrl + selecting the rectangle
