To make it so people can say something on the game, such as:
/pageAdmin


and it can come up in RC in that toalls little section? That part is never used, and would be much more helpful if it could be used this way.

"toall: Hey, admins!"


Or, if you just want to contact admins, PM them.


Of course, you can use sendtorc to put messages in the RC chat window.

'toall' will only show up in that window, IF THE WINDOW IS CURRENTLY OPEN WHILE THE PERSON SENDS THAT MESSAGE =o.

Maybe so, but I think a pm is adequate. That box is just for sending toalls from a RC.

Nah, it's also used for RECEIVINE Toalls, I do it about once every few months, just because it's fun to use =p
ANYWAYS, you can always do something simple where it does sendtorc #s(message); or whatever.

Thats only any good provided the person has the toalls window open to see it , I don't know about anyone else but I rarely have that open.

You could always make it do setplayerprop #c,toall: instead, but I don't think that would trigger playerchats =p

What's it for...

I'm guessing it's for players... to serve a purpose as a... sort of admin message to the staff. When the players need or know something important. And so the staff don't have to filter through PM's full of mass messages =o.

You're right, it wouldn't; toalls go directly from the client without even touching #c other than to clear it.

same goes for showname.

My recommendation? Stick with PMs. Sendtorc can get very annoying when many players might decide to spam all at once x.x

Nah x.x to be honest I didn't read your post thoroughly, and because of that ended up saying something similar without knowing exactly what you said; it's kind of weird to say something similar, I agree
