Will there be a new gani maker in Graal v3? The one that allows you to add more attributes without going through gani's in TXT mode.

WHy the hell do you need a new gani maker to amke new bodies?There is only graphics. Walking modes can be done on the old one.

Notepad gives me the creeps when I'm making ganis. I tried making a gani entirely in notepad. Everything was out of place.

Use trial and error more. You wont get better unless you try. Have someone whose good help you.

I'd rather do it visually in Graalshop. :x I'm experienced doing it that way, not with notepad. And anyways, I'd have to look at the ganis in game, because Graalshop doesn't even display attrs and params above 10. The bodies use 14.

I could always make one since everyone is already using alot of my graal freeware i have developed over the last year.

That would be nice =)

We really do need new Gani makers for alot of gani - heavy servers (Oasis, Shifting Ages etc). And even though those can do it in notepad, everyones life would be simpler with new gani maker.

Heh, a new graalshop would be nice, but anyway, notepad works wonders

I would rather see more features such as dynamically being able to change light effect values for gani attr, which would save having many recolored images/other techniques. Would be good for zoom as well, then spells like mini-man and giant would be cool hehe.

EDIT - Not gani attr, rather gani sprite effects

How to view the attributes:

1. In graalshop, add the attributes.
2. Save
3. Open gani with notepad
4. Add the attribute and graphic name along with the others
5. Save
6. Open graalshop

Basically when you open notepad you have like:

DEFAULTATTR1 image.png
DEFAULTATTR8 image.png
DEFAULTATTR25 image.png

The bold is your new attribute. You just add that there and then save and open your gani again, it will have the images in the left scrollbox so you can place them.

You can look at the ganis in your levels/ganis folder, the era ganis probably start with era_ or so, you can also see light effects in human2_zblade_stab.gani. Light effects are done with COLOREFFECT lines (which convert sprites into lights or alpha blended images) or with gani-scripts in SCRIPT SCRIPTEND.
