Event Text not Showing

My event text (the text at the bottom right of the screen, when you do stuff, pray, right click stuff etc.) won't show up. I can pray, and get grace points back, I can cast spells and everything else, but I get no text. I did not put this in bugs, because I do not know if it is a bug, per se. Is there a simple remedy for this? I've already tried restarting and reconnecting.

Sounds like a job for Mr. Fixit. You need to take a look inside your machine.
Check to see if a bug got inside there some how

If not, try... /listen 9

/listen 1 is the handy. It's minimal messages. And those messages are annoying. But I still have to see some. So, blah. And yes, /listen 1 isn't JUST handy, it's THE handy.

I think /listen 1 should have ONLY stuff that applies to you. I'm sick of seeing 500 "blah uses a Scroll of Identify"
