32-Bit Color Bug

When using 32-Bit Color Depth, Graal has transparency problems. I don't know how else to describe it, the best example I have as of yet is the menu on Graal Kingdoms. When using 16-Bit Color Depth, the transparency works fine when moving the slider down, but in 32-Bit Color Depth, You get blotches of the menu here and there, and some of it you cannot see. Also, with lights, there are little boxes around them at times. I'll post some screenshots in a few minutes.

Had the same box-around-lights problem. When I got revision 6 or 7 of 2.1.6, it worked just fine

What graphics card/graal version do you have?

Must be an older video card? Old drivers? Old directx?

Sometimes the transparency color shows, like if your trnasparent color is 0 0 255, it wont be see-thru, it will be blue.

Heh. The only games I've actually had any trouble with my desktop resolution being in 32bit mode was The Sims Online play test and SimCity 3000 Unlimited. Other than that, I have no troubles with Graal.

Seems to be more a problem with the gfx card / gfx card texture memory, since those images are not just non-transparent, they also contain strange pixels. NVidia cards (or the drivers for them)seem to have some problems with discarding images and filling up the memory after some times, not sure what to do

I have the same problem documented in the above screenshot when I am in 32-bit color mode.

I have DirectX 9 and an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro using the latest drivers. In addition, I have a SoundBlaster Live audio card, Windows XP, and a 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 processor.

Perhaps if he posted what he did to SOLVE this problem, it would have been more useful?

Don't be dumb, if no one replys then it gets ignored and is never fixed. I have the same problem while running windows in 32-bit. Yet I don't have that type of Graphics Card. o.O
