I agree there needs to be some way of changing stats, but nto this 'selling system' it would be dumb, and the permanent potions wouldnt be good liek you said because of barbs with 20 Int X_x. I think maybe alchemists should be able to make potions and you should be abel to find them like its been said allready. But 1, each class would get the stats differently, it say a barb used the Int potion, his Int would maybe go up 0.5 or 0.25, and he would need other potions to get it up 1 full stat. and 2, the things needed to make the potions should be VERY rare and you would need alot of stuff, so alchemists couldnt just pump them out, alchemists would be lucky to be able to make 1, and, the potions should be even rarer out of monsters.
Wiht the reroll system... i think it needs to be set up like, if you add to one stat, it takes away form another (like a circle in a circle, and when you move the circle inside it would move closer to a stat, and farther away on the one on the other side, and stats like strength and Inteligence would be opposite each other), i thing restarting to reroll your stats is dumb, and having some rolls alot better than some other rolls (in every thing) is dumb too.
Another maybe stat raising thing is as you move up levels, your stats will go up (like if you go from level 1 mental, to level 2 mental, your Intelligence stat might go up 1, but wouldnt go up every level gained). This might work, i didnt really thing about it, and im sure someone else can find a fault.
Note: How the hell would anyone get to level 25 with the current exp leveling system - Level 25=16777216000 exp, like really. |
