Tyhm has a spectacular aura about
Easy Graal Messenger Upgrade

AIM and ICQ both seem to have fairly simple HTML codes to open windows and start messaging....

What if in the PM window, there was an option to Use ICQ?
If the player in question has their ICQ number listed in their profile, and the sender clicks the Use ICQ option, it sends the message text through ICQ instead. And if the player's offline, Use ICQ is the default.

Then all you'd need to do is set the profile up with the option Only let people on my buddy list see my ICQ Number, and you're set. You can send messages from Graal to people who aren't currently on Graal, etc.
I don't know how easy it would be to make it work backwards as well though...recieve ICQ messages in Graal...but really, who'd want to?

Cool well...

for the icq one would be hard because it would go through icq's server and not graals... It would probly be better if it was like offline pming... like on icq but doesn't go through icq... that would probly be easier to make (at lest I would think so).

what you would have to do for that is save files for who pmed you and stuff...

something else that might be cool is if you pm someone it will pm them on whatever server they are on (like if they switch servers just as you send it), so they will still get it...

that's a good idea, but it's going to be horrid for the low processing/slow internet users.

What we really need is a place where we can PM people on all servers, maybe it's own program and it would make you appear like a RC on all the server, but this would probably create too much lag for anyone to be on. Just an idea.
