Ok now this is just stupid and unfair

This isn't about the Zormite blade even though it is too. ;p
But its about something called "Uncontrolled Mana", for those of you who don't know, this is when a cauldron gets overloaded and explodes and sends shrapnels of metal into everyone in a 10 mile radius killing them instantly (dramatized), even the people on peaceful mode. Now yeah thats realistic and all, but why do the people nearby have to suffer for the alchemist's idiot mistake?
I have died twice because of this, there I was praying nicely, my friend Jin was alchemizing all nicely, and then imageless magic NPCs appear everywhere in like a second and then "YOU HAVE DIED".
Then again talking to people in a house, Jin in the corner alchemizing again. This time I see it coming, so I run for the door, but of COURSE I didn't get warped out, dunno why its like the warp was nonexistant so then in about 2 seconds "YOU HAVE DIED", as well as everyone else there.
Now what I believe I am trying to say is....this is damned annoying and stupid and it really needs to be given the boot.
And if you think its because I am weak, I have 158 HP and some damned good armour, so I believe I shoulda had some sort of fighting chance.

Stupid and unfair: I just spent time making alch recipes..... all my low-cost recipes like water, sulphur, and salt worked perfectly. High-yield and everything. But every time (like 4 or 5 times) I'd do a high-cost recipe, like phosphorus or oil, I'd get slag...... except one time with phosphorus, when I didn't get slag---I just got NOTHING.

Alchemy messes up too often. That's where my complaint ties in with this thread. Sort of.

Alchemist have low con, low speed, low armour, low almost everything. Why are we being picked on the most now? I mean, I got 22 dex and 22 str, and only about 100kg on me and I go 1.4 (Incluiding the ROT I bought.)

That does suck =/ it shouldn't kill people on peaceful nor should it have such a broad mass.

I think it's because we can make things others cant...

Like we can make items that increase those stats =x

That would be nice..... IF. But what's one of the most common books sold in Hirathia? Alchemy. What's one of the most common scrolls? Alchemistry. Any class can learn it, and many do.

All classes can learn alchemy, and then they get alot of exp in metal from making waterof the wise and other things just as a side to using something like a pen or reading alot of scrolls.
I just think that Alchemsts have a big disadvantage stat wise, and even making money to buy the things needed to make recipies

Ok that's all well and good but the ability to kill people on peaceful mdoe isn't a good way to make up for their stat problems

Sorry to "semi-revive" this thread, but it's still on Page 1.

But, anyways. I just died from this, DragonX died from this, and I watched "graaliholic" die about 50 times from it x.x I just walked in a dungeon, DragonX's cauldron blew up, I lost about 10000 exp and 1 charm from little black spots everywhere. If it should hurt anyone, it should ONLY hurt the person using the cauldron. That's my two cents.

i laughed because of people blowing up cauldrins...it sounds so funny....some idiot just having some fun and he is sitting their bein stupid and he gets blown up into 540000 pieces and alot of people around him lellelelel

It is sort of funny, yes .. but .. heh, it's a big pain. Here's a tip to experimenting alchemists: Go into Kingdom mode while "alchemizing". If you do get killed, you won't lose anything.
