What do you think?

Tell me what you think.

Being LAT Admin on UN, I am targetted by frequent PMs. Unfortunately, some of these are bad.
I recently got one saying "f* you", only the full F word. I warned him, and he called me a f*. Now, I seem to have a different view than the other UN staff, because they refuse to ban him. I think that the idiot knew what he was doing the first time, and figured he'd push as far as he could. I want to know if it is wrong to ban people who know they are violating such rules, especially one so serious?
I mean, seriously, why do people have to put up with this garbage? Jail is so ineffective nowadays. They just keep messaging you, apparently not caring how long they are in jail. If it were up to me, they'd all get IP banned after their first warning. I don't see why people who knowingly violate the rules should be given any slack whatsoever. Am I wrong?

Talk to Nemesis. He will probably come on, ban the guy, then talk to the UN staff.

I've had a couple of idiots PM me, with stuff like that. All i do is laugh at them, and warn them. If they continue to do it, its ban time

You could always server ban them for a period of like a month or something, then if they do it again after that, perm ban them. Personally, I think we should do away with the online jails, and just use ban, but in order to do that, you would have to have like a txt file of when to release them, to make it easier on yourself, lol

Yeah, there should be a ban timer so that you can define how long they are banned for and it lets them come back after the time has passed.

Ban them. Period. Who gives a damn what the 'other staff' on UN say. (These other staff, by the way, are most likely the SAME staff that contribute to everyone's negative view/negative stereotypes about UN, such as being allowed to get away with anything).

I would have if I could have. I can't even warp players though, much less ban. Thought I'm thinking of writing an NPC for jailing, since I'm getting tired of having to say "No, I can't do that" when I'm the LAT Admin.

Red face

The Ban Timer was suggested long ago. Stefan will be adding it in the next RC update he says.
Like I said, your troubles will be solved by going on classic or Babylon and getting Nemesis.
