Player Corpses

When someone dies, or monster dies, they leave a corpse, if you double click on it a little tab will show up and will show the items it had dropped,the player that killed it has looting rights meaning he has 2 minutes to loot the corpse before it becomes open for everyone, and if noone picks it up it will disolve after like 5 minutes, this prevents stealing big time for those low levels who just stand around waiting for you to kill it then they take the prize..

same with people,
maybe instead of stat loss you lose come cash and if someone kills you they can loot your corpse

How will this reduce stealing? This is ample time for a low level to loot the corspse, as he has privledges...

i mean if the PLAYER doesnt loot the corpse within 2-5 minutes it will be open for everyone if they dont loot the monsters corpse...

they had gravestones, and those crashed the NPC Server, actual corpses that had more information besides name (like what items you could steal, etc) would probably crash it easier

EQ?? I doubt it would Crash the NPC Server unless it has some buggy coding =/

shifter, the gravestones were just putnpc2 and the rest was joined into the mudlibs (dont know how, all I know is that they were putnpc2, then somehow the mudlib coding controlled it) and it did crash it, angel told me the seconds on the CPU Usage thing on 2k2 for gravestones was around 12

have bodies dispear after looting
if body isn't looted it should disapear after 3-4 mins

There are no corpses on 2k2... it was a player idea... Stefan/Unixmad didn't come up with it.
