Ok, before I start, you can reply saying whatever the hell you want to this, but my opinion stands as im sure yours does too.
Ok where to begin..... When people amke PW's it takes them ages and ages. They Think they have to have high level detail and high quality scripts that no one has seen. Galbadia has set a new era for PW's im glad this has come out. I was expecting a never before seen, Original, High quality levels that only about 30people can do. But I go classic type (Which is good) this proves to all people makeing a PW, it hasn't got to be levels with no grass tiles and scripts that are out of this world. This has shown us that you dont need to be spending years and years adding to your levels and scripts. And it can work online with some players without the high quality levels!
Im was quite annyoed yesterday, at the people massing messages such as....
''This server Sucks''
''This PW Is the worse ever''
''Finally a new PW, But it may have well not come up''
''This is not a PW it is SH*T''
This annoyed me. They have worked for a VERY long time on this project, and no matter what you guys think. They have put All the effort they can put into in. And have given you a PW to enjoy and walk around. And if you dont like it. You dont have to play it. Finally, I once started a PW, And anyone who is making or has made one, Would be very sad and annyoed if you spent almost 1/2 year of your life time on Graal making a PW for people to abuse and call it crap. (So please think of the people and the time that they put in, Its not fair on them if you are shouting horrible things at them) Ok now for a review of my own, As if it will change anything but still....
Creativity - 7/10 - The boat is a nice idea, Some of the inside levels work well. The NPC's and layout shown here is generally good, but room for some improvment, which Im sure that they will add as soon as they get back on there feet again. The language thing could be worked on most signs haven't been added yet, I hope they will add them soon though. The tile set has been changed abit to make it better to look at , Nic eideas there.
Levels - 8.5/10 - The levels I expected where not what I got, But at least still this shows for those people who think that you have to be really crammed with tiles, that you dont have to. And so although the levels could be worked on, They go well with the PW at the moment. This style is good though and although shows the ''laidback'' approch, its effective and works well. The snow levels are grea,t It only really the levels at the start that culd be worked on, and should be as its what we see first.
NPC's - 6.5/10 - From what ive seen there quite good and will be getting better I hope. The Clothes changer was good. Some NPCWeapons were great and some other scripts I found around the PW (Right over the other side of main island) were good and looks wonderful.The night and day, which I didnt see yesterday Is also effective and well thought about.
Quests - 5.5/10 - I do agree, they need to work on the the most. Alot of them were 'compusdied' quests. Or a carry the pot, which didnt have a working door at end, So you could walk through. They should Improve more on this and get some bosses and original Quests then all will be well.
Storyline - 5.5/10 - They have a short intro at start which could be better, but it does come in play a bit, The boat you get some of the story line as it starts to tell you about your Family. So its ok, but could be alot better.
Total: 34/50 (I think), Yes I know this is a fail. The reason the NPC's and some levels were not working, I think they forgot to sort out some clintside/serverside stuff. Although they ahd alot of time as Private. I think this PW should still be kept online, As im sure it will amuse and give us alot of fun in the very near Future.
I keep editing it, as I find stuff, But I dont think It can go much higher than that score right now. Overall its a good PW so if you like it play it, if you dont, then dont come and wasting yours and everyones time by massing useless SPAM!
