What makes a Server?

I would like to know what everyone thinks is the most important part of a server.

Obviously a good balance but if you have egotistic staff that think they're to good to help the players then it will fail.
Also it must, must, must have some original ideas that arn't used on any other server.

Staff make the server. The people are what keep it alive. I guess a balance between all would make most sense though.

Staff like make the server. But the people who play on it make it different and more entertaining and fun. Staff are people. O_o And like, if you make a server, with staff, if it's bad, then no one would play it. So I said players. o.o

I don't want to play a game with terrible gfx.
I don't want to play a game with terrible npcs.
I don't want to play a game with terrible levels.
I don't want to play a game with terrible staff.
I don't want to play a game with terrible players.


I think its a combo of all.

It's a combo for instance there are some servers with GREAT levels and GREAT gameplay and ideas but *****ic staff and horrid rules made by them will ruin that :/

I think a great server is a server where the People can do things to help it, or work on it.

i think un has that mix (mostly)

they have good lvls, nice gfx, good people, but the staff on it isnt what it used to be

I haven't had a problem with the staff there but I don't play much, UN seems okay although there's nothing that really GRABS your attention and holds it ya know?

I'd like to think NPCs but what are they w/o the GFX and levels to put them on? Anywhoo, it doesn't take a poll to figure out that a good server has good everything.
