RC Timeout refresh?

ok, ive noticed that if i disconnect from the internet ( yes im on dial up and my isp d/c s me every 2 hours ) and im on rc without logging out properly, my name stil stays online for about 10-20 mins after ive gone. is this fixable? is there some sort of refresh that happens to see if RC's are actually still there? if not can you make one that checks every minute or so? would this lag? do i ask too many questions?

ya i do that, but the point is like say my cat trips over the wire for the internet and pulls it out, but i dont mind cause i needed to go anyway, i dun wanna have to log on rc, d/c myself, log out and disconnect again

usually when stuff like that happens, my RC disconnects but my NC stay on

if you disconnect without closing graal you character or rc stay on playerlist for about a half hour

yes which is why i said put some sort of timeour on it so that after a min if the player is not active it d/ces them?

If you idle on servers for a time you are diconected, Im not sure why it doens't disconnect ghosts though...

It's a ghost of your online player
Like, if you get disconnected, graal still thinks your ip is online, thus it still displays you as on in graal or connected in RC. Graal needs something that pings your host to see if it's still alive. And if your playing graal it's the same thing. Just when you reconnect, Graal reads a new ip comming from you, and discards the old one, which in turn would kill the ghost.
