Params?

No one seemed to respond to the other one so i deleted it and started a new one....hiw do i use params to make it so i lift up and object that is differant then the perivous ...

all i want to change the bush but it doesn't change it when i pick it up somone said that i should use params how would i go by doing this? plz help
