These are all Squaresoft characters who suck for the most part.

Heck, squaresoft hasn't had a respectable male Final Fantasy lead since Cecil. Butz was okay but too shallow.

I like Ryu from Breath of Fire. Otherwise... I prefer female leads.

Honestly, I don't think Locke even was the male lead of FF6.

He was the second character (Besides Terra) to join the party, so he is the male lead.

Shadow was respectable, I thought he was rather good.

Ryu owned you, he was great.

I'm constantly amazed at how many people think Cloud is so awesome. O.o

Six years ago when you asked a group of people "What is your favorite Final Fantasy?" They would all say FF4

Three years ago they all said FF6

Now most people seem to think FF7 is the best O.o

I guess it all depends on how old you were when you played it (BTW FF6 is the best! FF4 and FF9 tied for second )

Yeah, and Biggs and Wedge! They were even in Chrono Trigger too. And one of my favourite fights of all time was the FF5 one against Gogo (please correct me if I've mispelt this).
