Generic tree or oak tree?

that way we can get a variety of woods to work with

you know they actually use differnt types of trees for different types of wood... for different purposes? some rot quicker than others and stuff...

Yeah, but why complicate things?
There's good wood trees and hard wood trees, they both produce the same logs but the hard trees have to be hit 50 times, providing better cover.

Yeah but then all the players who haven't studied carpentry and/or some plant like form of biology would all be like "OMFG! I cant tell the difference bewteen a maple tree and a pine tree! OMFG I R DUMNB WHERE IS THE TEATCHERS>!"

what you don't seem to understand is that the more types of items we have, the more we can trade, the more things that need to be done before you have everything, and more time before you start getting bored of the game...

We need a price list...and have the shovel only dig up stuff you can use - ie, only tree seeds until you make the scythe, then it digs up corn seeds. When you reach the point where you can make oak nightstands or whatever (raise your hand if you give a flying feck what kind of wood your rolling pin is made out of), you dig up the appropriate seeds at random

there is a price list... goto the school and check the book on the table... it gave u some command or another to find the price of items(only works there)
