First screen of Murasamune released

Heres a screen, the level isn't detailed I'm just showing the treetop layering system, and the grass and tree tiles.

when you make a tilset theres another problem.....you will have to make different body's to match the surrounding world that might get hard.

Heh, maybe, but once I add the random tree top thing to the treetop NPC then all the trees will look different, and it will look very nice...but other then that I like this style, and believe it or not it takes way less colors.

Or tell me how I can improve upon them...I could make them ultra detail spiffy niceness but then I would run out of colors...

I like the tree because its not in the shape of the crappy graal tree, its more real. The grass is very bad though, I suggest chossing a different pattern.

what i mean by patchy, is that you can sorta see where the tiles are, and it doesn't look like it flows well

Yes I agree completely, at first I didn't really notice, now its like its popping out...I will fix it, believe or not it took me an hour to get that grass tile. Making good grass tiles that connect is tough, lol.

Hmm I think the problem that is bothering me with that tree trunk are the colors, it has a bit to much red in it and needs to look a little more brown...I am going to go into PSP and replace those colors, there is only 4 different colors I think...

Hmm...I think the little sprout on the side of the tree makes the trees look worse as a whole because you see that little thing on every tree.

graal's not supposed to be real, thats why its called a GAME! maybe you take graal into your little offline life and see graal trees all over the world in place of real ones, but thats not real my friend, no it isnt.

Here fixed a few things, and now there are 2 treetops...soon there will be 5 - 15 treetops, and it will all be random on where the treetops go...

After I make a little thing for babylon I'm going to make lots of detailing tiles, and maybe even new mountain tiles, so it will look alot better soon.

The grass has like a dark green blotch in the corner making it look like squares for each oatch of grass which when tiling does not look good

Yeah I noticed that to, its already been fixed but no point showing another screen until I get alo more tiles...next time I show a screen showing the tileset stuff is when I finish the mountain tiles.
