How do tranformation npcs work?

I kinda made one using Ganis, but I could only get it to walk.... Yes, walk... when i wuz standin still, it would play the walking ani, and when I used the sword it didn't play my gani at all.... any one wanna help me?

You'll need to freeze up the player to prevent him from setting a different gani, so you'll also need to use keydown... The only problem is that you can't triger level warps while you are frozen.
