ok i got a multiplayer game.
1 or 2 players can play.
if online, 4 players can play.
its called: Attack!
1 on 1 if 2 player,
2 on 2 if 4 player,
1 on cumputer if 1 player.
how to play:
u can use any weapon u can use.
there is obstacles like rocks u can throw at each other;
or npcs that u can throw,(put:
NPC Code:
 canbecarried; 


and u can put defence stuff like gates etc.
oh yeah, of course; Paint Ball!

A good mini-game could be Centipede...but you need a track ball for that really...and since Graal does not have mouse support, it would be tricky

If you want mini game ideas, do download some Arcade Roms.

I KNOW!!! Someone do Tetris in Graal...that way I could own all

Um, the player in Asteroids can spin 360 degrees and can go in any directions. Graal only reads up, down, left, right though you can do angles, it might be a bit difficult

hmmm...stefan should just buy about 100 video cards at a cheap price then make some mini-gamz that require teh 3d acelleration and just tell the player to buy a graal video card!!!!

You can do asteroids, just draw the ship with kstar.png or have a gazillion graphics for every conceivable rotation direction (180 should really do..^_~)
And I've already done Centipede, it's in the Northern Limits Arcade in Old Graal. High score, levels, flea, spider, everything.

Hmm....I dont have a whole lot of Arcade roms anymore...kinda lost them

I know...do vector games Like Tempest, that was fun or the Vector Starwars game.

Pac-Man would probably be one of the easier ones to do. Or a graal fighter game

There are too many games for me to want to go through

what is that supposed to mean?

I know that you can move in any direction....using NPC scripting. But alone, graal reads up,down,left,right. The 45s are read as 2 key presses and it just moves the player in those 2 directions if it can.

If she ship is relatively small, 180 sprites should fit into a single, decently-sized .png file. Then you could use setimgpart (or whatever), and calculate the positon using modulus arithmetic.

or you could forget nice graphics and use 2 round gif's one pointing the direction your facing and one for the center.

I got the flying around and warp part all done. now I need to get the bullets... having a little trouble with that right now though...

In original asteroids, I think you only had one missle at a time...so it's easy, xshot, yshot, xshotspeed, yshotspeed. Hope that confused the crud out of you. I'll now refuse to elaborate. ^_~

Naw, not that cruel. Here's your array:
shots=[32,32,-0.5,0.75,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0]
the first 2 numbers of each set of 4 is the x and y of the shot, in this case, shot 0 is at 32, 32. The third number is the x difference, every time it loops it moves left 0.5. The fourth is the y difference, every time it loops it moves down 0.75. It works, it's just a pain in the neck to write the for loop for finding a free slot, attacking, hitting something, etc.

I made this age's ago (as this post was age's ago)
but I want to show you what I did.

It's hardly an ansteriods game but it is a spaceship *that moves extremely fast lol* and it does shoot bullets *which never terminate lol*
