before bread baking,how could you get money? Im talking about besides pking,pearl diving,and events. How were humans supposed to get money? Events?

there was once an npc that gave you 30g, but i just begged corpse for money to by an axe and he let me. I got most of my stuff off scalper, when he left 2001 he gave it me <3

I think money was added via RC and given out in events (about 20g) or people had the money from the 5g chest, then came fishing. Once fishing came people had a good income because fishing was fast, for that time. After that the only way to get money was to beg, win events or get lucky and have something given to you.
