I've been thinking about this, the state of Graal2001, the state of the forums.

I've come to the conclusion that, the new players coming arent part of the problem, we are. Throughout this new generation of players, we've all been resisting it, trying to change people, why the hell should they have to act a certain way around us? I mean all someone has to do is type the wrong way and they have everyone on their case. Rather than try and resist the new generation, we should embrace it. We used to have fun because it was a peaceful community, and frankly, we've made it just the opposite, what the hell is wrong with those people that "don't have intelligence", nothing, They just might want to type a faster way, because they prefer it that way, they might be a beginner typist, I have no idea but we should not judge "intelligence" and "worth" on that. We should try and help these people with problems, have a fun enviroment with these people, rather than make it a hostile enviroment. Some of you might call me a conformist, some of you may say something else, but think upon the words I have said, thank you.

The world is too harsh these days. Me included. We've forgotten how to have fun and just...be ourselves.

I would hate to live in a happy happy land with smiles all round, arguements and hatred entertain me in those desperate times of need.

Wing, I can't put it anymore perfect than that. To think I was the only one who thought that. I have been thinking about this for a very very long time, hopefully people understand what you're saying. It makes perfect sense.

I can imagine it now, mental asylums full to the max with people banging their heads on padded walls saying "happy happy happy happy happy happy..." etc

So true. I figured out today that the reason that rping on newmain has dropped, was not because of the newbies, but us. We, the roleplayers of newmain, stopped going on, which meant there was no one to rp with the newbies and everyone else, which meant that roleplaying as stopped.

Most likely someone is going to reply to this thread, dissing it, but I hope that no one does.

We have caused this, and now we have to fix it.
