Navies?

Right now, this idea is in the beta stages with Dustari, but I figured I might as well just see what the general opinion of Graalians is/are.

We here at Dustari figured that maybe there are some advantages of having a navy. I know, I know, some of you are going to go bonkers thinking that since this is midevil times, there can be no navies. Look at the pirate ships we have. Those are navy ships, if you add some cannons and guns and make them bigger. We would have to increase the water space to get around, but it's an idea.

Another idea we had is airships, but that was shot down. To make this brief, I was wondering your opinions on every guild or clan having a operational navy depending on their scripters? Perhaps everyone could at least have a pirate ship or two? Maybe even an airship? The decision is yours, and I'm back into my little hole of solitude.

Maby a Airship force (like a airforce) AND a Special Forces unit also for DUSTARI! WOO! WOOT WOOT!

Plus, Id also like to se other guids start there own Special forces..maby try and get Stefan to give them a Zalgun for Guild uses only.

and if anyone in a guild messes up, have them taken away from that group.

But I really want a navy. That would be so cool with the cannons and stuff.

Well, if we're going to start special forces, I say there be one zalgun per guild. Maybe two, depending on the size, and if they can get it...

if you get a navy i want the oblivion (the spcaeship from FF9) so i can goto space and blow up planets

if there were to be navies, like this

each kingdom gets 2 boats, they fight, when damage is done to a baot, they have to dock it on a public no fighting pier and fix it

Here is a better idea:

Each kingdom gets 5 nuclear warheads, only 5, but they can produce more by putting one gold and one iron together (just a thought)

Each sumbarine will have the ability to blow up buildings with torpedoes

Hydrogen bombs will also be available, we can trust kingdoms they won't abuse them

Tanks can be massed produced by putting about 20 iron ore together. They can roll down the street and crush buildings

Military lazers can be fired from sattelites in space, zapping enemies into a crisp

ROFL when I got to the line about the Hydrogen bomb I just cracked up there man! Still the navy thing is ok with me though I'm not sure where I stand on having cannons though. BTW Pirates, whats the use of owning the sea if theres nobody to fight to win that ownership. To fighters and rogues everythings either a challenge or a treasure.

There is a tale that some fishermen tried to put a boat onto the waters of graal, but immeadiatly after launching the boat caught flames and the boiling water around the boat killed fish and ruined the fishing economy of that town for many years..... Its rumored that Ghost Pirate did it too!
