a few questions

I haven't been playing much, but I've noticed era has gone to **** really badly, i have 3 questions I'd like to ask:

1. Why is my latency constantly over 300ms?

2. Why is it summer and less people are playing than in winter?

3. Why are all gun stats being changed?

1. This has been discussed in many threads, a lot of which I believe you started. The servers hosting Era and the like are really badly located and don't cater to anyone, really.

2. Not everyone in the world has the same holiday period. Winter was probably big because a lot of other regions are more prominent on Graal. EG: More EU players than US.

3. No clue due to not playing.

The location was fine back when it was moved from Seattle to Dallas. As far as I know, the server is still in Dallas (but I haven't looked at all)—not sure why the latency is so bad, even for those of us relatively close to Dallas.

A large part of it is the latency. It's very hard to PK when your latency is 3x what it normally is, even for us in the US. Sparring and PK events are almost impossible.

It's not going straight through to Dallas anymore, which is why everyones latency went up. You could say they incapsula'd Graal now too.

It would be better if they moved the servers to Chicago.

chris is right, dallas has always been a bad server but now the lag is insane

is there an excel file with the final stats of all the guns so players can compare them to each other?

Seems like the combination of a server move // the DDoS attacks we were experiencing have caused lasting problems from my view. All of the Classic hosted servers are having these lag problems, as I've talked to a few other managers and been on to experience it myself.

Our max playercount hits near 100 everyday, with over 250-300 unique accounts per day. Being here in the winter as well, there were a few times when it was very high, but for the most part it did not reach this maximums.

We are balancing guns in relation to their value and tier. It seems to have gotten all out of whack due to senseless additions of guns and improper maintenance of said guns. We finished the document of changes and have begun implementation, which should be completed by tomorrow (Sunday) night.

The Dallas server used to give me 60ms, now im up in the 100-200ms... something is wrong over there...

atleast you can spar, Europeans are basically banned from the spar complex

i'm on a 100/10 connection and get around 300ms on zodiac.
