Is it possible to change where the cursor position is with script on a GuiTextEditCtrl?

Try playing with this command.. GuiTextEditCtrl.setselection(start_position, length)

Just pass 0 to the length.

Also, is there anyway to change the cursor to a block (like old DOS text editors) or to now show the cursor even?

I don't think so. You'll probably have to do something hackish or completely custom to get that effect.

Actually I don't think mousescreenx/mousescreeny are read-only. Give it a shot.

Changing it only changes the value, and I believe he was referring to the text cursor |.
