A new method for trading gelats (none exists AFAIK) would be much appreciated.

I don't see why gelat trading can't be an option on the Login server, as someone has to pay for the gelats to trade so you still get profit.

The thing is that we don't want people buying gelats, giving them to friends, and then blocking their credit card.

I don't know exactly what "blocking their credit card" means, but I'd guess it means you don't get money. You could avoid this by making them wait 30 days before transferring the gelats (or however long it takes), no?

Sounds like this problem really needs to be fixed for an item-based transaction Graal to exist.

Since there's nothing stopping the player from buying X amount of goods from a server via their Gelat shop and then abusing/trading it to friends and then doing the same credit card fraud.

How long does it take to verify that a payment has gone through, and the transaction completed anyway?

Well that's why you normally cannot trade those items (e.g. special weapons on Zone)

Would it be possible to make it so that you can't trade if trading would leave you with less gelats than you've bought in the last 24 hours, or however long it takes to secure payment? Seems like the simplest solution.

Someone gifted me 8000 gelats, they paid via their credit card, and I gave them items in-game. I don't see the difference.

I miss trading items on GK for gelets. I'll remain Trial till a form of gelet trading is brought back. Or I'll start buying my own when GK and Zone are worth paying for again.
