Crypt Drop Rate

The drop rate of items in crypt has been supposedly increased by Tig, he made an announcement in-game today. This is supposed to last until November 1st.

Apparently the main drop, wand, has gone from .5% to 5% drop, and the unreleased rare drops went from 0.25% to 2%.

This threads to discuss any drops gotten from crypt.

Today I got an essence.

So you're saying that there r multiple items that kvasir can drop which haven't been released yet?

Over the weekend during the increased drop rate, I got Darkflame Sword and Belt of Darkness from Crypt. Was a great event. Was banned on the forums or I'd have remembered to say such.

Belt of Darkness has +2speed and some useless resists.. technically worse than Glok Belt, so I asked Tig why an item dropped by Kvasir, never before dropped by any monster let alone the strongest monster in the game, would be worse than a basic belt.. and he said there is a chance of it being buffed.
