Yeah I kinda work on a Mac myself at times, there's a binary on the site, you just need to install XQuartz (Google) if you still have Leopard. There doesn't seem to be a version for Snow Leopard available yet, but you can use macports (Google) to install the package "xorg-server" which will do the same (sudo port install xorg-server).
Edit: Actually, it's just way too messy to package libraries on Macs. I removed the link from the page again, since you'll have to install all kinds of libraries too to get it running, which is probably not what most people would do.
Here's the link to the disk archive, but you'll have to do "port install gtkmm gtkglextmm gtksourceview boost" which is going to take ages (because of boost).
If someone has more experience than me packaging binaries and libraries on a Mac, please give it a try
