Question Events/Event Coins/Prices

I logged on today to find that Tig hosted off quite a strew of really rare items that will go for crazy, redicilous prices in this jacked up GK economy.. If rare items are being evented off, it should be announced so that its fair and equal to all players to be there during that event.

Anyways, the prices are through the roof for anything nowadays. Its probably considering the fact Enchant Armours have sky rocketed in price, making every +12 item be a pretty penny.

d=Diamond: 500+ plat

HSoD+12=100d
Marks+12=100d
Luckies+12=80-100d
CoMP+12=100d
Ring of War=500d
Ring of Strife=100d
Speed Amulet=250d

etc.. etc.. Those were the basic prices and were for a while.

What happened? Why is everyone trying to gouge people to get a little bit richer? Im confused as to whats causing this.
On top of these issues that underly, I feel that any item obtained through Event Coins you can trade back for the same amount of Event Coins that you paid. So that way there arnt as many items, in circulation, but more Event Coins to get the items people really want. And so the price isnt 50d for an Event Coin anymore. Unless this rarity is intended?

Just some thoughts and ideas. Anyone feel the same?
