Why does EVERYTHING cost gralats?

I mean it takes 984753498534 years to farm or to mine and even bread baking is faster.

And now this market place looked neato-keen but it's gonna cost GRALATS to rent a table?

I mean come on. All I want to do is sell my little bit of stuff for FUN. Not for profit.

i agree it shouldn't cost gralats to sell though.. just for poor people because there are lots of them
but maybe like 1 gralat an hour would be a good price

We thought of 1 gralat for a (real) half hour.
The problem with low prices is that there will
people who will rent those places just so
that no one else can use it

May be I should at least add a protection
so that someone cannot rent all places at once,
and may be police can make it free again
(still need to find a way to save the items
when the time runs out and the owner is not
near)

someone should only be able to rent 2 tables max at a time I say.
I don't know how anyone will profit from this though. Unless you make NPCs run out of items like farming tools and fishing equipment and things
otherwise people buy them in stores and sell them for less and lose money

The market needs to be able to sell all tradeable/droppable items.. except bomys and houses.. So hats, food.. etc..

I made the market btw if anyone didnt notice

Stefan I got a few ideas from people in pm's.. here are a couple

Make it so when the owner of the stand says something inside the stand, it is displayed over the stand sort of like a sign so the stand owner can "pitch" his merchandise.

And one that needs to be added, the owner must be in the stand in order for their items to sell.. This prevents people from buying a stand and leaving their stuff their.. it also makes sure that the money is transferred and all.

And I hope you just opened the sides of the stands for everyone to check out.. because it would be a lot better saying "enter" and "leave" so that you don't have a dozen other people in your stand.

And the torch holder needs to be fixed on the table because it moves down (my fault)

Maybe you could have logs to check which items were put on the table and when? That way you can solve any lost items/money problems and also check to see if someone just bought a table and never used it =)

maybe make it add a box type npc with items pilled in it for an image and the the old owner person must come and pick it up?

Sounds good.. maybe the npc guy there can give back items or something.

Backpacks would be good. Something like your trading item can only hold a certain amoutnt of weight, Any over weight slows you down and makes you weaker.

STEFAN HAS HIS 1337 POST! oh and why not have an NPC where they lay them on the table they set the price and wait for people to buy for half an hour then when their time is up the npc autolly repacks the stuff gives it to them and they cant rent again for another half hour tayda!

Already suggested backpacks, even made the NPC for my world.
I suggested both backpacks, and pouches on the forums before, Stefan hasn't added it...yet

Backpacks might be good in theory.. but I have all the weapons and items in the game.. I don't want to have to get rid of things just for a backpack.. we are trying to make additions to the server.. not limitations.. But I am all for making quantities on work items like fishing rods, etc.

Of course only if backpacks carry certain things.. then it might work.. not carrying things like a draisine, and anchor

And would bomies be able to use backpacks as well? I mean.. how would they wear them... It sounds like another thing that bomy players would complain about not getting.

Bomies get shell upgrades which they can hold things in their shells. As thier shell becomes stronger, they can move around more freely with all their items. Naturally, bomies will be limited to their stock.

That would look funny seeing as though some bomies are smaller than a normal rock, and some are larger than humans, that is why I did not suggest that.

Stefan put all the extra "me's" in there.. Complain to him..

I wonder what Stefan's infatuation with putting tons of little worker people everywhere is.

He has birdbirds all over dustari, and now konidias' all over the market. I guess it's nifty to show who is making that area and stuff.

It's there to let us know who made the levels, and that the levels are being worked on.

That npc killed me multiple times. I demand a refund of the money I lost. Anyway, who thinks I should make and submit something? I made a nice jump n run area. Spanning over 10 levels. I might add a "racing" system to it.
