Backup Warnings / Notifier

Since some posts have hinted that you are in fact doing backups again, it'd be nice if there was a command or an RC warning that a backup was happening.

It's kind of annoying on Zodiac (or any Classic server I'd imagine) telling players you have no idea why the server is lagging.

What if, for the players, there was some sort of built-in icon that appears when the backup starts and goes away when the backup is complete? Or at least some sort of variable that can be used so a server can make such a thing.

Then again, my idea might be a bit unnecessary compared to a simple RC notice. Its just that if no one catches the notice for whatever reason-...

Players shouldn't have any indication as to backend processes like backups. They should run in the background without damaging the player experience.

An RC echo would be perfect, and maybe a message in the serverinfo "Server is currently backing up".

It'd also be nice if it created logs/backuplog.txt or something the records when the backup started and stopped.
