Hello graalions.
This is nexum here and I have made a new server called Graalemon.
The server is called dev 23hotshot23 until we rename the server.
Our server is based on pokemon, when you first start you have a choice of 3 eggs.
Water Fire and Earth.
If you choose water, ur pet will be water elemental etc.
Here are some pictures so far.
Community + First fire pet

We have made a smaller version for that as well.

Wrong subforum.
Graphics don't look that good.

I am sorry to say, the server is pretty lets say.. unorganized. I mean that red monster you have looks a lot like a neopet on neopets.com. You may want to check that out.. because those people are money sharks who will do anything for a buck so they could sue Graal. Just make sure.

They shutdown Dementia's pokemon-based server, I don't think this one will have much of a chance either. Sorry.

People can't come up with their own ideas and thoughts, they have to steal and use already existing ones.

Unlike all the negative posts your getting, i'll give you a positive one. A pokemon like server would be a cool and unique one IF you made it your own idea. Instead of saying it's like pokemon think of a storyline and such of how a player has a choice of eggs. And although your graphics aren't that great, you can always change them later on. Keep on working on your server and it would be refreshing to see another server out! And BTW Zodiac was at one point almost an exact copy of an MMORPG not allowed to be discussed on the forums until it was taken in it's own direction, so if this person does take the pokemon idea in another direction, then i can not see why it couldn't be a good idea.

Edit: Don't call the server Graalemons. Think of a nice original name.

Well.
Thank you for your comments people.
Our server isn't a copy of Dementia, this gfx picture was just a test.
Later on we will be getting better graphics and new scripts etc.
And instead of trying to copy Pokemon or Neopets, We are going to add new stuff.
One idea was that when you go outside randomly somtimes a monster can come and attack you or something.
And you will be able to spar other players without a pet, with skills and weapons etc.
We will be releasing quests and many more things for new things.
If you guys have some ideas you would like to share please do.

I don't remember watching a carbon copy of an MMORPG not allowed to be discussed on the forums being made on Zodiac, the only exact things that were copied are generic ideas used all over the RPG genre.

If done to some quality, with a concern for gameplay and variety it could be the sort of game people dip into when bored that doesn't need much commitment. So I think there is plenty of room for a pokemon styled server on Graal. Of course, pokemon replication would require at least 151 graphics being made, I'm not sure anyone is out there to make 15.1 for most servers, nevermind 151.

the ideas were taken from an MMORPG not allowed to be discussed on the forums, like how this server wants to take ideas from pokemon. I fail to see the difference. You say the ideas taken are generic ideas used by the RPG genre, and i say the idea that someone trains a race of creatures to battle is generic.
