Heilyr is Hiring!!!

Hello everyone. A new RPG-style server is underproduction called "Heilyr". We could use any assistant possible, so were hiring for staff positions such as LATs, GAT, and Scripters. Here's some information about it.


Prelude:

Since the beginning of mankind, humanity has battled for dominance over the relics of the gods, called the "Heilyr". Legends tells about their ability to bless those around them with exatrodory powers. The nation of Elymere, a nation that at one point had the greatest military force in the world, made an existuqustion in search of the Heilyrs, and were successful. Elymere kept possesion of the Heilyrs for decades, until the bordering nations, Siegana, Delbard, Alcily Gargem formed an alliance, and sent their military forces to invade Elymere. In order to make sure the people of Elymere wouldn't get harmed, the King surrendered, and gave each nation their own share treasury. The king isolated his kingdom from the Heilyrs after their surrender, so Elymere became netrual. After a few years, the nations were unsatsified, they started to lust for the other Heilyrs, and thus, resulting into a 4-way war. You start off as a traveler who travels to Elymere for more information and guidance of how to become a contributer to the war. What role will YOU play?


Quests and Leveling:

I'm planning on making quests really important. Leveling with be worked together with quests to keep the player interested while leveling their characters.

Classes:

There will be a unique Class Branch system. Basically, you start off with 4 base classes, and when your character is half way done with leveling, it'll be able to branch out to another class.


PVP:

Nations and raids take a major role in PVP. Raids will be fun and a challenge. Those who help their nation raid will be rewarded as well.

Seems like a nice rpg server, more mmorpg than hack'n slash finally, by can't you stray away from such a thing like nations that zodiac sort of already has? Or at least give it a different name and a different use. If it's a 4 way war, why not have the player go through creation and actually choose from 4 starting areas that they will be involved with. Rather than having the regular 'path + forested' towns you see in usual graal rpg's, try to define area's more? Maybe places where it is always night, places where it always snows, cursed areas, blazing hot desert towns? o_o.... Im sick of forests in graal rpg's x3...

Or why not just make something new to graal, such as a modern rpg? :3

Well, we are starting from scratch. It will take quite a while for us to get back on our feet. This'll be a good time for the staff team to get to know each other very well and use teamwork.

Ok, we are still in search of some staff. I mean, Heilyr got off to a great start and all. The LAT team is a bit slow, but they are doing a good job, and the NAT team is also doing a great job. Right now, im working on some events and event items.

Its been a rough week, but like I said, we got off with a good start on Heilyr. Still looking for a bigger team though.

That tileset was formerly on Atlantis, it's a modified version of the Darkworld tileset from Zelda.

Angelu made that.

I didn't say we're using this tileset.... I asked for a suggestion as Rave_J said he wanted to use it for a supposid tileset he ahd rights to and for a gmap he started.

Angelu you told me yourself that my edits to those tiles were nice... I could use the esteria tiles sence I edited them so they didnt look 100% the same. You also stayed on tranquility for a bit when i showed you around. Wile you were on u also complmented me on my inside cave tiles but said they were not your style becose they were complex.

telling me to my face that my edits were good just to saturated, then changeing ur option on them kinda hurts.

you told me that you work on the tiles so they are not the same than the esteria tiles but atm the most things are recolors...
i never allowed you to use my esteria tiles with small edits and i told you that the tiles are nice so you go on with work (i do that on the most server)
the grass is only reversed and the cliffs are the same with some nonsense pixel added (dark lines are on the same place)
i have no prob if u use my tileset as inspiration if you like the style

I wouldn't just edit them though and use them o.o...that's sort of stealing to me x.x;

On another note, how much progress has this server made since posting?
