The fact that AP on Graal Kingdoms is not actually existant annoys me. Since Graal first introduced AP, it has been a part of every server and the majority have kept the tradition up. The color of your name (when you've got an actual AP system in place) is a good reflection for character, and a constant given throughout Graal. If you've got 0ap people instinctively know you're more than likely going to chase them around the islands for hours on ends just to get your kill fix.

The thing is that on Kingdoms we're surrounded with namby pamby pussies with 100ap, but that's all that's offered. Perhaps you were setting yourself up for a fail with that alone, but there is actual PKing, and like Era you seem to be forgetting what AP is actually for. If I wanted a golden name, I'd expect to idle for years, but I guess that's also a given on Kingdoms. It'd be pretty easy to do so I don't know why, for the sake of consistancy on Graal as a whole, this wasn't done before.

I'm confused.

Why does Gk need AP aside from consistency?

Why doesn't Zodiac need it?

Everyone on Gk who's played for a bit has 100ap. Not from "idling", and not from getting lamed upon walking out Bomb Trade. Consider your golden nametag as Gk's custom name display, like Zodiac and Val.

I never stated that Kingdoms needed an AP system, but it occurred to me that it didn't, which is pretty boring. I've already said that Kingdoms has a PVP side to it, and AP is a feature of generic Graal PVP to begin with. Aside from that, everybody on Kingdoms has 100ap, it's like a boring conformist society. Are you trying to tell me that one-colored names are the way to go?

Kingdoms is using the default names display style, Zodiac isn't. I did think about it though.

Leveling up your max health is an important aspect of Gk, Constitution is a sought after stat.

AP would make Con. less valuable if PK'ing cost you your hard earned health.

And every server that doesn't use AP has everyone using identical name colors too (See: Valikorlia, Zodiac, Zone, Kingdoms). Gk isn't the only "conformist" server.

What I would like is your name color varies depending on your Kingdom. Add some cosmetic change when joining a Kingdom.

I never stated nerfing anything of the player because he was PKing, that would only work in Classic style gameplay. I did say however (if you actually read what I said which I'm starting to think you didn't) is that AP is a reflection of character. If I'm a new player and I log onto Kingdoms after playing Unholy Nation for the majority of my time, everybody having 100ap suggests that nothing PVP wise actually happens, though that might be true anyway.

Every server you just stated other than Kingdoms is using a completely different way to display names, not default to the Graal style of name display, which I said in the last post too. The general Graal name display stands out a lot, because it is constantly on display under your character, therefore it's a good way for color to reflect on your name.

Players < level 40 : 100 AP
Players > level 40 : Probably 100 AP
Players level 110 : May not be 100 AP

I don't understand what you mean with this, the default AP system is:

I'm saying that, on GK, it is impossible to kill someone who is level 110 unless you are very close level, or have extremely good armor. EDIT: or they have extremely bad armor.

And, no one under level 40 is on bmode, for the most part.

Hmm good point, levels probably would have to be accounted for; or maybe not as heart amounts on Classic servers could be seen as a similar situation, but they're ignored. If it is as "impossible" as you say though, it probably couldn't be compared to heart amounts as it's always somewhat fair ground with hearts, sword levels, and skill.

Yes, by impossible, I mean there is no way you can break their armor. And, when you do, they'll restore the minimal HP they lost before you can break it again.
